B vitamins are important for human health - both for a person's mental and physical well-being. They help ensure normal energy-yielding metabolism (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, biotin). Vitamin B12 contributes to normal hematopoiesis, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system, and some of them (B1, B3, B6, B12) also contribute to normal psychological functions. Almost all B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6, B5, B12) help reduce fatigue and weakness. Vitamins B6, B3 (niacin) and biotin help maintain skin health.
