Designed to bend and stay put

Thanks to the unique Flex technology, Mepilex® Border Flex is more compliant than other porous bordered bandages tested. A dressing that moves with the patient and stays in place even when showering.

Smart release management

The 5-layer bandage absorbs, guides and seals the discharge and allows you to track the progress of the discharge. By keeping bacteria-containing secretions away from the wound bed and preventing them from re-entering the wound, even under a compression bandage. It handles discharge up to 2.2 times better than other porous edged dressings and can handle both normal and viscous discharge.

Less pain and damage

Our proven Safetac® technology means less pain and damage during dressing changes and reduced risk of maceration than traditional (adhesive) dressings.

Areas of use

Mepilex Border Flex is indicated for use in the treatment of a wide range of exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, traumatic wounds (eg skin tears). Mepilex Border Flex in combination with gels can also be used on dry and/or necrotic wounds. Mepilex Border Flex reduces post-operative blisters and can also be used as part of a preventative regimen to help prevent skin lesions such as pressure ulcers.

Easy application

The 3-part film removal insert can help you apply the dressing accurately and safely, preventing wrinkles, rolled edges and re-applications.
